Comedy TV Show 'GLOW' (Season 2) Torrent is rated with 8.0 points out of 10 on IMDb (Internet Movie Database) according to 22,139 ratings by critics. Series is created by Liz Flahive, Carly Mensch and the main stars are N/A. Season begins with first episode called 'Viking Funeral', official air date is June 29, 2018.

Six months before Mindhunter season one even dropped, Netflix reportedly commissioned a follow-up. That's hardly anything new – the streaming giant used to recommission virtually everything they made, but that's not the case any more. It's a mark of confidence, and one that was well placed.

We loved the first season – you can see our review of episodes one and two here – and the real-life source material allows for considerable expansion. FBI analyst John Douglas had a long and illustrious career, after all, one that involved meeting and occasionally incarcerating some of the world's most famous psychopaths.

So what can we expect from season two?

Mindhunter season 2 release date: When can I see it?

Netflix officially confirmed a second season back in November 2017, but the streaming giant didn't confirm exactly when it would be back on our screens.

Director and executive producer David Fincher talked about the show in terms of 'next year', implying he'd be filming in 2018, which led some to believe that the second season would drop towards the end of last year, like season one.

But that didn't happen.'I don't think that season two will be on until sometime in 2019. We're actually in the process of shooting it right now, but we're still in episode one,' explained star Holt McAllany.

But it was Charlize Theron, another of the show's executive producers, who gave the game away back in April during an appearance on The Howard Stern Show. The actor revealed that the series would be hitting screens in August this year.

An eagle-eyed Redditor also picked up on the following from filmmaker and photographer Miles Crist.

'For the past year, I've worked for David Fincher on his Netflix show Mindhunter, shooting, editing, and colour grading still and motion imagery for social media,' he wrote on his website.

'This work will be released soon as part of the marketing campaign to promote the second season.'

He also shared a number of stunning photos of the season two background actors – so, after what feels like a lifetime of waiting, the new episodes are just around the corner.

Mindhunters season 2 cast: Who's in it?

The show's IMDB page confirms that Jonathan Groff will be back as Holden Ford. (Named after two brands of car, incidentally. Australian-born showrunner Joe Penhall told News.com.au: 'I started with [the name] Holden after Holden Caulfield in Catcher In The Rye, the ultimate young green antihero of American literature. But I was driving a Holden when I came up with the idea, a rental, and it got me thinking ... and Ford seemed the obvious second name.')

It also lists Holt McAllany as Bill Tench (Robert Ressler in real life), and Anna Torv as the pair's academic associate and mentor Dr Wendy Carr (loosely based on Ann Wolbert Burgess).

Of the killers, given that Dennis Rader wasn't caught until the '00s, we initially thought that actor Sonny Valicenti would return, but the IMDB page suggests that might not be the case – and that also looks to be the case for Cotter Smith as FBI unit chief Shepard.

We'd also welcome more time in the company of the truly awful yet somehow compelling Ed Kemper, if only because relative newcomer Cameron Britton was so magnetic in the role.

Netflix

It looks like season two will feature Charles Manson as Justified actor Damon Herriman has reportedly already filmed his scenes for the show back in July. In an odd coincidence, Herriman will also play Manson in Quentin Tarantino's upcoming Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

Others prominent roles listed are Nancy Tench (Stacey Roca) and Kay Mason (Lauren Glazier).

Episode

Behind the camera and Fincher is back in the director's chair for the premiere and finale, with Killing Me Softly's Andrew Dominik directing two episodes and House of Cards' Carl Franklin taking charge of the rest.

Mindhunter season 2 plot: What will happen?

In an interview with Billboard about the show's music, Fincher revealed that the second season (expected to run to eight episodes) will address the real-life events of 79-81, two years after season one:

'Next year we're looking at the Atlanta child murders, so we'll have a lot more African-American music which will be nice. The music will evolve. It's intended to support what's happening with the show and for the show to evolve radically between seasons.'

The Atlanta child murders, despite the name, were a series of 28 killings of African-American children, teenagers and adults. John Douglas was closely involved in profiling the killer and was officially reprimanded over his conduct during the case.

As mentioned above, the 'BTK' killer Dennis Rader would seem to be a likely returning figure, as he wasn't arrested until comparatively late in life, though he was apparently not 'active' – in the criminal sense – between '77 and '85.

That said, actor Sonny Valicenti won't confirm his involvement in season two - or even that he definitely is playing BTK. (He totally is, though.)

Anna Torv has also hinted that, of all things, the unresolved fate of the cat dwelling in the basement of Wendy's apartment building could lead to a major development in season three.

Netflix

'Is there a serial killer in Wendy's building who's slowly starting out, and testing his bloodlust on feral kittens?' she said. 'I think there are a lot of ways it could go.'

Lead writer Joe Penhall left the show during the first season, and it seems that Fincher took over as showrunner. In an interview with EW, Holt McCallany said: 'I think once David took control over the arc of the story, everything has changed considerably from the original scripts … from the point of Joe's departure David sort of really began to rework the scripts and the bible and everything changed a lot.'

Whether that means a new showrunner will be appointed or whether Fincher will oversee a stable of writers and directors himself remains to be seen.

Plans are afoot, though, for Mindhunter to run and run. 'Hopefully we'll have five seasons,' McAllany told Esquire. 'The five-season bible I read was approximately a 60 to 70 page document that just laid out the broad strokes: a much more detailed rundown of season one, and then an overview of what potential subsequent seasons would look like.'

Don't expect the fan theory about Holden Ford becoming a serial killer to come true though, however long the show runs.

Netflix

'Everyone has said to me after they watch the show that they thought the character was a sociopath. And I had no idea! No idea... So many of my friends texted me, saying, 'OK, so when are you gonna start killing people?',' he recalled.

'I think the thing that they are aligning with... that I think is very similar, that we start to see more and more in our characters is this characteristic of narcissism and becoming self-obsessed.'

Mindhunter season 2 trailer: When can I watch it?

We don't have an official trailer yet, but we'd expect it to land next month (July) if the brand new episodes are released in August.

When most people think of the '80s, these things come to mind: gravity-defying perms, bold spandex, and adrenaline-fueled rock music. Netflix's GLOW, about a group of actors training to be on a television show about women's wrestling, has all of those elements and then some. Of course, the hair and the high V-shaped leotards might not exactly be popular anymore, but at least the songs on the GLOW soundtrack still withstand the test of time.

Wrestling is a pretty niche sport that most people will never try for themselves, but I defy you to listen to any of these songs again without wanting to get into a ring and tackle somebody. GLOW certainly figured out just the right combination of songs to get viewers psyched up, using a combination of iconic classics and one-hit-wonders that capture what the mainstream culture of the decade was actually like.

Best of all, most of the songs are the kind of thing you'd hear in an elaborate training montage, which makes them perfect background music for the next time you work out. Make no mistake, I am absolutely putting a bunch of these songs on my running playlist, and I expect that once you get the chance to check them all out, you'll do the same:

'The Warrior' By Scandal (feat. Patty Smyth)

What better way to open a television show about female wrestlers than with a badass tribute to female strength and heartbreak?

'Separate Ways' by Journey

Yeah, that's right, this show starts with Journey — that's how you know you're in the '80s. The 1983 music video is so laughably bad that Jo still hasn't lived it down, but there's no denying that the song itself is completely epic.

'Stir It Up' By Patti LaBelle

This song from the 1984 Beverly Hills Cop soundtrack ends out the first episode, and it won't be the last time the show borrows a track from a classic '80s movie.

'The Look' By Roxette

This 1988 song opens the episode and introduces us to Melrose, the party girl of the GLOW family.

'We Don't Get Along' By The Go-Go's

It wouldn't be a TV show about fierce women in the '80s without a little bit of the Go-Go's, and this song is particularly perfect for describing Ruth's relationship with... well, everyone.

'Life In A Northern Town' By The Dream Academy

This song plays over Sheila The She-Wolf's elaborate getting-ready routine, and perfectly speaks to the isolation she feels as a result of the way she identifies with wolves.

'Rock You Like A Hurricane' By Scorpions

Scorpion's 'Rock You Like A Hurricane' is probably the most overused '80s rock song in history, so it's no surprise it showed up in GLOW, too.

'This Is One Of Those Moments' by Barbra Streisand

As Ruth so wisely points out, who doesn't love Yentl? Nobody, that's who. Barbra Streisand's 1983 movie about a Jewish woman who pretends to be a man to study the Torah (so like Mulan, but for Indoor Kids) gets a loving shoutout as Allison Brie performs a few bars from one of the film's more obscure numbers.

'Ready Steady Go' By Generation X

Justine is way more '70s punk than '80s metal, which makes the inclusion of this 1978 track by British punk band Generation X perfect for her.

'Dare' By Stan Bush

Not only does this song literally play over a training montage, but it also first appeared in Transformers: The Movie, the animated 1986 robot extravaganza that's far better than anything Michael Bay's ever put out. I mean, does The Last Knight have Orson Welles and Judd Nelson in it? No? I rest my case.

The Theme From 'Exodus' By Ernest Gold

The inappropriately somber song that opens GLOW's first live event is actually from the 1960 film Exodus, about the founding of Israel. The movie was so popular at the time that everybody from Dizzy Gillespie to Liberace performed covers of the theme, so it makes an odd sort of sense that Sheila would know it, too.

'Angel' By The Jetzons

Glow Season 2 Episode 1 Download Torrent Download

If you've heard of this band, you either lived near Arizona in the '80s, or you are a giant music nerd. Their song 'Angel' appears in the background of GLOW's car wash fundraiser, so odds are one of the girls is from Arizona, too. (Fun fact: the keyboardist, Brad Buxer, later went on to work with Michael Jackson and may have written some of the music for Sonic The Hedgehog 3 with him, according to Billboard Magazine.)

'Magic Moments' By Perry Como

There's something about this 1957 Perry Como song that's so creepy and ridiculous in its cheeriness, which makes it perfect listening for when you're drunk and bummed out like Sam Sylvia is in this scene.

'Things Can Only Get Better' By Howard Jones

Heroes Season 2 Episode 1

This 1985 song is so perfectly upbeat that when it comes on the radio on the way to the first GLOW taping, Melrose and Keith are convinced its a good omen.

'Invincible' By Pat Benatar

The show began with a badass female vocalist singing about defeating her enemies, and that's exactly how it ends: with the queen of '80s dystopian pop herself, Pat Benatar.

'Cum On Feel The Noize' By Quiet Riot

Glow Season 2 Torrent

This '80s cover of a 1973 Slade song doesn't appear in the show itself, but it's blared at me every time I've used the Netflix app on my Playstation 4, so I'm gonna go ahead and count it. I do, in fact, feel the noise.

Glow Season 2 Episode 10

Anyone else feeling like a champion right now? Hopefully GLOW gets a Season 2 on top of this, because there's only so many times I can listen to Journey on a constant loop before I'll need something new to get me hyped.
