The set includes two units because they can be combined to form the instrument called 'Jammer keyboard', an alternative keyboard, chromatic and isomorphic (following the Wicki-Hayden layout) which allows to play complex and polyphonic melodies as with a piano, but being very much easier to play and to learn (as it is an isomorphic keyboard, all scales are played in the same way). Besides, it is extremely protable.
In youtube there are several example of what can be achieved with a Jammer keyboard (see included youtube link - that's not me btw).

Original price of both instruments together was above 1000 euro (including taxes and shipping). You can have them for approx half the price as if they were brand new.
Note I: The instruments are 'USB class compliant'. Therefore, they do not have specifical drivers but they use the standard MIDI drivers provided by the OS of your computer. This can present some problems with Windows 10, making necessary to use in this case not-free drivers (in example: the one in the thesycon webpage). Under Windows 7 and 8 or under Mac OS they work perfectly out of the box.
